NOTE:  Restoration International does not host any of the family campmeetings, rather they are organized by families in the local area.  The following is the registration packet sent out by Lee & Lynelle Perschino, the hosts for the Virginia Family Campmeeting.

2006 Virginia Family Camp Meeting

September 12 - 16, 2007 (Wednesday to Sunday)
Roanoke, Virginia (Camp Bethel)

Dear Friends,

We want to give you a special invitation to join us for the thirteenth annual Virginia Family Campmeeting at Camp Bethel. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn practical scriptural principles and meet old and new friends. If you have not had the opportunity to come before, prayerfully consider coming this year!

Due to Camp Bethel policies regarding the use of the camp, there will no longer be any refunds provided if you are unable to make it to the camp.

There are a variety of lodging facilities available at Camp Bethel, including tent sites and RV hookups. We are providing a registration sheet that details the costs for each type. There are three types of cabins available, efficiency, winter and summer. There is a very limited amount of cabins available this year, so if you desire a cabin please reserve them immediately as they will be reserved on a first come, first serve basis. Cabins may only be reserved in advance if staying all four nights. These cabins sleep twelve and we may have to combine two or more families.

MEETING SCHEDULE: We have scheduled four meetings a day which will allow for your private worship time, unhurried meals, family time, fellowship and appointments with the speakers. We advise you to schedule your appointments early on in the campmeeting. When scheduling your appointment, please do so with only one speaker or that husband/wife team so that their time can be shared with the other families seeking counsel. Please allow the speakers uninterrupted time in the morning before the first meeting to allow time to eat and prepare for the day. After the last meeting of the evening, we suggest that you spend time with your family in preparation for the night’s rest and allow the speakers the same.

OFFERING: The cost of camp meeting will be covered by a freewill offering. Restoration International accepts donations for this through their ministry. If sent before camp, be sure to clearly label for Virginia Family Camp Meeting 2006. Checks may be made out to Restoration International for a tax-deductible receipt. Offerings will be collected on Friday evening, Sabbath morning and evening.

THINGS TO CONSIDER: 1) Temperature: Warm, moderate weather during the day, cooler temperatures at night. (Meetings will be held in a gymnasium with cement floors.) Night meetings may be cool. 2) Family hikes: Walking trails are available. 3) Bad weather: It may rain. Plan accordingly. 4) Seating for meetings: This year we will again be meeting in the gymnasium. We will use the regular padded chairs. You may want to bring a pillow or chair cushion. 5) TRUE FAMILY CAMPMEETING: We like to see the children and parents sitting and staying together. Please advise your children and youth accordingly in preparation for coming and attending the meetings with an open heart. Don't Forget: Bible, Blankets, Linens, Towels, Toiletries, and Rain-gear; besides food, clothing, cookware, utensils, etc.

May the Lord guide you as you prayerfully consider attending this campmeeting. If there is anything we can do to make this opportunity possible for you or someone you know, please don't hesitate to contact us:
