In this series you will see the vital importance of cultivating Christ-like character qualities, much like cultivating a garden. If left to “come up naturally,” our children will end up more like a weedy garden, devoid of “the fruit of the Spirit.” If we as parents will cooperate with God, taking time to carefully and tenderly cultivate the soil of our children’s hearts in the ways of righteousness, they will grow into a beautiful, fruitful garden, representing the loveliness of Christ’s character.

The first and most important aspect to understand is the role of the parent as the gardener of the heart. Then 18 different character qualities will be discussed showing some common pit falls as well as how to practically plant and cultivate the right seeds of character. Everyone in the home will benefit from the fruit of cultivating these character qualities planted in this series.
